Concept: The JWDA Floor Lamp is part of a series of lamps inspired by traditional oil lamps. The lamps are created from honest materials – concrete and brass – that are lifted by the beautiful design by the Stockholm-based designer Jonas Wagell. The JWDA lamp is a minimalistic lamp without superfluous details; it does, however, uphold a strong character. Its roundness expresses warmth and invitation. The lamp is designed from the meeting with contrasts and is therefore created in the combination of the concrete, the fine glass and the heavy brass. The JWDA lamp has an unusual yet practical function: a dimmer on the lamp shade itself. The JWDA lamp is perfect for the sitting room, corridor or bedroom. The JWDA Floor Lamp is available in white marble and browned brass or travertine marble and brushed brass. This suits Jonas’ mission to "… create products that can be used every single day and became part of people's lives".
