The Ekko dining chair from Brdr. Krüger is a tribute to both classic carpentry and modern design. It was created in collaboration with Danish designer Morten Emil Engel and expresses a calm and balanced aesthetic where materials, form and function merge into a higher unity. The chair has a light and floating expression with an elegant curved back and seat in veneer that almost seems to float over the solid wooden frame. The visual play between the soft and the precise gives the chair character without being noisy. Ekko is comfortable to sit in and at the same time beautiful to look at – both stand-alone and around a table. Made of solid wood and produced in Denmark with large respect for the material, Ekko is a piece of furniture that will last for generations. It fits perfectly into the modern dining area where honest materials and aesthetic tranquility are at the center.
