Design: Marc Sadler for Foscarini, 2021

Concept: Mite Anniversario is a 20th anniversary version of the Mite lamp, which was designed by Marc Sadler back in 2001. At that time, a patent was taken for the production method that combined fiberglass and carbon wires, which at the same time gave a decorative and structural function to the design. The anniversary version shares the same dimensions as the original but has thinner carbon wires, united in a wider spiral that becomes denser as it approaches the marble base. The lamp's matte finish is an essential element that helps to give the sculptural aspect and makes it elegant to have standing - Even when it is turned off. Mite Anniversario appeals to the modern home, and provides a cozy atmosphere with its built-in dimmable function.
