The Kaiser Idell lamp series has a very elegant and timeless design. With its original Bauhaus design, the Kaiser Idell series is built around the world-patented ball joint (1930), as well as the well-known lampshade, which has a very special characteristic for the Kaiser Idell lamp. On top of the characteristic lamp top is the engraving with "ORIGINAL KAISER-idell". All lamps are made of steel, chrome and brass, while the shades are hand-lacquered in high-gloss or mat paint. Christian Dell (1893-1974) designed the first lamps of the Kaiser- Idell series in 1926 and the first ones went into production and were launched in 1936. One of the first and most recognized designs from the Kaiser- Idell series is model 6631 Luxus.
