Paavo Tynell is a legendary designer who has created a beautiful collection of iconic products throughout his career. The 1972 the pendant is certainly part of this. The shade , which is made of bamboo, is hand-sewn and mounted on the metal frame. This means that the light will ebb between the bamboo slats, giving off a soft glow. With its elegant conical shape, the lamp also issues a pleasant soft downward light. This makes this lamp ideal for areas where you do not want to be dazzled by its lightbulb, e.g. above a dining table. The special lamp comes in two different versions, both with and without the ability to control the height of the lamp itself.
