The Barro series is designed by Portuguese designer Rui Pereira and is based on classic serving shapes with roots in traditional households and everyday use. The name Barro means red clay in Portuguese and reflects the designer's fascination with historical craft traditions and the way they have been a natural part of everyday life for generations. The series is characterized by soft shapes, rounded edges and calm proportions, which give each element a stable and balanced expression. The Barro series is created for both serving and table setting and works equally well for everyday use as for more special occasions. The individual parts can be used alone or combined in a crisscross pattern, making it easy to create a personal and coherent table setting.
