Design: Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost for DCW Editions
Concept: In the sun Behind this beautiful and different lamp series, there is a funny story about how the design was created. When the Pavillion Dufour at the Chateau de Versailles was to be renovated, Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost wanted to create a lamp that would be act as a tribute to the sun king, Louis XIV. With this idea they created the '' In the Sun '' series. The shade, which is available in either gold or chrome, is made of mesh and when the light from the bulb shoots through this mesh net, you can clearly see how the light of the lamp plays with the shadows. The light that is thrown from the lamps is beautiful and interesting to look at, and In the Sun can therefore be put in any room, and immediately attract attention. The series is available as a pendant, wall lamp and a portable table lamp.
