Designed by ISKOS-BERLIN for Made By Hand in 2017, the KNIT-WIT the floor lamp is a beautiful combination of inspiration from the sun's light ball and the classic rice paper lamp. The knitted material creates a warm and cozy light that spreads 360 degrees in the room.
Knitting as a craft had never before been used in modern lighting design, and this very idea became the foundation for Made By Hand. Knit-Wit is the first knitted, modern lamp, where the light is filtered through the unique pattern of the yarn, creating a decorative and distinctive expression.
The Knit-Wit family consists of lamps in several sizes, colors and shapes, all sharing the same warm expression and soft sculptural form, making them easy to integrate into both private homes and public spaces.
The floor lamps in the Knit-Wit series rest on three elegant and slender metal legs, which give a light and airy expression and highlight the glowing spherical shade. With three different leg heights, three shade sizes – Ø45, Ø60 and Ø65 – and the colors silver, burgundy, pink, light green and yellow, there is ample opportunity to choose just the lamp that fits perfectly into your interior.
