Design: Mendel Heit for Normann Copenhagen, 2018
Concept: A classic raffle is a game of chance. You mix a pool of weights that are drawn in random order. Exactly that, has been the inspiration for the Tombola vase from Normann Copenhagen. Based on eight building blocks of abstract shapes, designer Mendel Heit has assembled the blocks in random order and this is what has come to characterize the beautiful surface of the glass vase. An abstract pattern that beautifully refracts light and allows the vase to gain attention and personality.
