Design: Petite Friture
Concept:
The world-famous Vertigo lamp, created by award-winning Constance Guisset, created large enthusiasm in the design industry when it was launched as Petite Friture's first lamp creation in 2009. It quickly became a classic and won the Audience Award at the Design Parade de la Villa Noailles. in the launch year. The guise has put a lot of thought into this design and every single detail is well thought out and measured with precision. For example, the lamp is made of a light material that causes the lamp to wave when wind comes through the room. In addition, the lightbulb is placed in a small basket, which together with the shade provides a nice shadow play on the ceiling and wall when the lamp is turned on. The lamp is available in 6 different colors, each with their own distinctive expression. The lamp is available in two sizes. The popular design is designed to work in all kinds of spaces - both large and small. Some may find it nice over the bed in the bedroom. Others will use it in the kitchen, in the living room or perhaps in a larger hall. With the Vertigo lamp, you get a genuine, French design icon that will delight most design lovers.
In order for Vertigo to shudder with the vibrations of the air, the structure was made of fiberglass with ribbons in polyurethane placed by hand.
Ribbons give this pendant light a wired character. The latter is appreciated in the visual of the lamp but also by the thread it weaves with the spaces it signs.
