Concept: Cestita Metálica was designed by Miguel Milá, who has managed to harness the strength of the steel by placing a delicate silhouette of opal glass in the center of it. This iconic luminaire is an expression of strength and emotion, which is combined with practical applicability in everyday life and it has illuminated interior spaces for decades. Cestita Metálica is meant to be the same place, and thus there is no need for a handle. Placing a lamp like this will create a focal point for the entire room in which it stands.
