Design: Tom Rossau

Concept: The self-taught Danish designer Tom Rossau, started his career in his parents' basement. He had a large passion for LEGO which was the starting shot for Tom's lively imagination. Tom Rossau 's passion for design started in the 90's, when he opened his very own store in Copenhagen, and designed and sewed leather clothing. Since 2004, however, he chose primarily to work with natural wood veneer. In the beginning it was only possible to buy his uniquely beautiful lamps in his old shop in Istedgade in Copenhagen, but in 2006 the models TR4, TR5, TR6 and TR7 were were introduced to a wider audience at Copenhagen's Furniture Fair, where TR7 received "Audience Favorite Award ".

Although the business continues to boom, Tom Rossau maintains the company's original values and core. He thought it was a magical experience to design, and see the prototypes as well as the materials develop during the design process. He gets a kick out of the whole design process, and finds his inspiration all over the world, but at the same time lets the possibilities of the materials also inspire him. In fact, he believes the material is the designer, and he is simply the helper who assembles the lamps, picks up screws, and fastens the ends.

The beautiful TR7 Floor lamp from Tom Rossau contributes with large elegance, and a nice warmth from its lightbulb to the contributes to the creation of cozy space. Its natural material of birch wood provides a nice warm light. The model is one of the most famous and popular models from Tom Rossau. The TR7 the floor lamp fits easily into a Scandinavian interior, as it provides warmth and depth with its natural material. At the same time, it is a lamp that provides a cozy diffused light, and does not dazzle the consumer.

TR7 is available in two different sizes, and is made both as a pendant and a floor lamp. The lamp series is produced in the materials light birch wood veneer or white plastic.
