For Jørn Utzon, his father's work as a naval engineer and his technical drawings led to a lifelong fascination with ships, boats and light. More than a decade before Jørn Utzon created his masterpiece, the Sydney Opera House, he put his fascination into this pendant, which for the first time combined the smoothness of a ship's lines with the source of light.
